What’s happening at Carclew?
Our future plans are driven by sustainability in all its forms, from stewardship of Carclew’s land, delicate ecosystems and unique heritage, to our focus on being part of and supporting our local Cornish community. We’re growing organically, starting small, responding to needs as they arise.
Please see below to find out what’s happening now and how you can get involved.
Volunteering opportunities
We carefully manage and protect the habitats and wildlife here at Carclew. We’re in the process of setting up habitat creation and restoration days, clearing invasive species to enable our local native flora and fauna to thrive.
Do get in touch if you’re interested in actively taking part and becoming part of our story.
Carclew Outdoors
Forest School at Carclew is growing! We’re already providing opportunities for play, exploration, imagination and confidence-building through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in our natural woodland setting.
At the moment we are also working with neurodiverse groups of children and those not part of the formal education system. As our site facilities improve we plan to open up more widely.
Please see the booking page if you would like to join the Forest School.
